Hybrids are known, particularly in cultivation, between Corymbia calophylla and Corymbia ficifolia, and the progeny have been given the names Eucalyptus ficifolia var. guilfoylei F.M.Bailey, Eucalyptus ficifolia var. alba Blakely, Eucalyptus calophylla var. hawkeyi Blakely and Eucalyptus calophylla var. rosea Guilf. (K.D.Hill & L.A.S.Johnson, Telopea 6: 471(1995)).
